Across the country, cities are inspired by NYC. In 2018, San Francisco and Newark passed Right to Counsel and in 2019, Cleveland, Philadelphia and Santa Monica passed Right to Counsel! We are working closely with tenant organizing groups, advocacy groups and legal services providers in cities across the country who see RTC as a tool to build tenant power in their cities as well.
