By all metrics, Right to Counsel has been a huge success in NYC. Evictions are down, landlords are suing tenants less, tenants are showing up to fight their cases more and almost everyone who fights their case with an RTC attorney wins. 

But there is more to RTC than its impact on evictions.  Last summer we conducted focus groups with organizers and tenants across the city to ask them how RTC had changed their organizing, if at all.  The results are moving and powerful, and documented in our newest report: Organizing is Different Now: How the Right to Counsel Strengthens the Tenant Movement in New York City.
