On Monday, March 27, City Council is holding an Oversight Hearing on Right to Counsel (RTC). City Council has the power to fully Fund RTC, Fund Local Law 53 (the RTC organizing bill), oversee the Office of Civil Justice, Support Statewide Right to Counsel and so much more. Right now, RTC is under attack with more than 17,000 tenants facing eviction alone. Join us to rally City Hall Park at 9am and to testify in front of city council at 10am.

Make sure to choose the Committee on General Welfare and put the subject of your testimony is Right to Counsel. You can also email written [email protected] or via the Council’s website at https://council.nyc.gov/testify/ up to 72 hours after the close of the hearing.
